Our tapas bar is the soul of Anyday, our heartbeat.  We’ve taken the joy of small-plate dining—the passing, sharing, and sampling—and cast a health-forward eye on it. Traditional Spanish favorites inspire the menu, but each dish is crafted to balance health, fresh and sustainably sourced ingredients, and the addition of Caribbean flavors where possible.

“My philosophy is to stay rooted in tradition while being loyal to the best ingredients around me,” says Chef Ali. “That means using local Florida seafood in a Spanish-style ceviche or heirloom vegetables from nearby farms in a Catalan-inspired dish. The technique is traditional, but the ingredients tell the story of where we are.

“We work with a network of trusted local farms and purveyors. Our microgreens come from a small organic grower nearby. We source fresh fish directly from Florida’s coastal fisheries. For specialty imports like Spanish cheeses or cured meats, we work with select distributors who prioritize quality and authenticity.”

Seasonal produce drives the rhythm of our kitchen, so a roasted carrot salad in the fall tastes different from one in the spring—and both capture the essence of their season. Other local vegetables enjoy the same star treatment. Instead of side dishes, they take center stage. Seasonal vegetables roasted, grilled, or lightly dressed with citrus and herbs embody our lighter approach to dining.

Details are critical at Anyday, the details the bring balance: the gentle smokiness of grilled eggplant paired with fresh herbs, the clean brightness of ceviche marinated with citrus picked at its peak, the comforting balance of chickpeas stewed with just the right touch of spice. Every plate is thoughtfully designed, so when you leave, you feel like you’ve opened a door into a new flavor profile.

South Florida’s proximity to the ocean means we can highlight freshly caught seafood in ways that feel natural and unpretentious, rooted in tapas style but brightened by local ingredients. Our grilled octopus drizzled features white bean puree, chimichurri and spicy aioli; locally sourced hamachi ceviche shines with cilantro–passion fruit leche de tigre, jicama, cucumber, avocado and a hint of salsa macha, accented by plantain chips; and shrimp cooked with garlic also come with tomato jam and chorizo. 

Weekend Brunch That Sets the Tone

Brunch may not be the first tapas meal that comes to mind, but there’s not better meal to showcase the way Anyday blends the local with the traditional. We see brunch as a way to begin your day with intention, and our brunch menu highlights freshness, balance, and joy. Think of a slow-braised short rib, poached eggs, hollandaise, lemon sriracha, and micro cilantro on challah bread. Or grilled halloumi with roasted red peppers, sun-dried tomato pesto, red onion, arugula, and grilled eggplant on toasted ciabatta. Or crispy brussels sprouts with tahini yogurt, pecorino, maple–shoyu glaze, chili oil, and crispy chickpeas. Note the blend of flavors and ingredients. Egg dishes and smoked salmon deliver flavor without heaviness.

The rich taste of matcha or strong Turkish coffee add a reminder that every culture contributes beautiful and soothing ritual to the table. So many drink options pair with tapas brunch:  a matcha latte, pink lemonade with sumac, lime green tea or one of our fresh fruit smoothies accent a meal.  Anyday Bubbles—Maison Symphonie Rosé, Perrier-Jouët Champagne and fresh lemon, topped with fresh rosemary—or the All-Day, Anyday Bloody—Beluga Noble Vodka or tequila, Zing-Zang Bloody mix, topped with your choice of Tajín, celery, lemon, lime, olives, and candied bacon—are nice ways to add indulgence without guilt, comfort without compromise, and set a different tilt to the day.

“My love for wine began early on, influenced by both Turkish and Mediterranean wine cultures,” says Chef Ali, who studied oenology during his master’s program at Johnson & Wales.

Like the philosophy around food at Anyday Boca, the wine list represents Chef Ali’s deep respect for wine as a living, evolving expression of place and process. He prefers natural wines with minimal human tampering—no added chemicals, very little sulfur, native yeasts, and sustainable or organic farming. “It’s wine in its most unmasked form, says Chef Ali.

“Wine should express its terroir with honesty. I prefer minimal intervention — wines that are alive, soulful, and sometimes unpredictable. Wine should complement food, but also challenge the palate and spark curiosity.”

For people who prefer cocktails, the Anyday bar team balances creativity with restraint. Expect drinks that highlight fresh herbs, house-made infusions, and lighter spirits designed to refresh rather than overwhelm. A spritz paired with a plate of tapas on a warm Boca evening is about as joyful as dining gets.

It’s both an honor and a responsibility to own a restaurant,” says Chef Ali. “Anyday is not just a business—it’s a stage, a gathering space, and a creative outlet. Owning Anyday allows me to tell my story and invite others into it.
